Every Class, a New World
Colombian roots, Washington heart
At Cultural Dance Center, we believe dance is for everyone. Whether you’re stepping onto a dance floor for the very first time or deepening a lifelong passion, our instructors meet you exactly where you are.
Founded by Enoe Jaramillo Daza, our approach blends authentic Colombian folklore with practical technique — building not just dancers, but confident, expressive people.

Latin Rhythms
One-on-one instruction tailored entirely to your level, goals, and pace. Whether you want to learn salsa, cumbia, or merengue — or simply feel more comfortable on the dance floor — these sessions are designed around you.
Perfect for adults of all ages who prefer a private, focused learning environment.
Zumba
High-energy group fitness fused with Latin and African rhythms. Zumba at CDC is more than a workout — it’s a celebration. Expect cumbia, merengue, reggaeton and salsa beats that make you forget you’re exercising.
Suitable for all fitness levels. No previous dance experience required.
Seniors Class
Dance has no age limit. Our seniors program is specially designed to improve mobility, coordination, and joy — all at a comfortable, welcoming pace. Colombian rhythms adapted for bodies that have lived full lives.
A wonderful community, light on the joints, heavy on fun.
Rose Project
Our flagship children’s program connects kids to Colombian folklore through dance, music, and storytelling. Children learn traditional steps and costumes while building rhythm, discipline, and cultural pride.
Open to children of all backgrounds. Parents always welcome to watch.
I joined the Zumba class not knowing anyone and left with a whole new group of friends. Enoe creates such a warm, encouraging atmosphere — I’ve never felt more welcome anywhere.
My daughter has been in the Rose Project for two years. Watching her perform at the DC Youth Peace Festival in a traditional Colombian dress — I was in tears. This program is truly special.
I’m 68 and I was nervous about starting dance classes. The seniors class completely changed my week. I sleep better, move better, and laugh so much every session.
The personalized Latin rhythms sessions are exactly what I needed. My instructor tailored every class to my pace — I went from two left feet to dancing at my own wedding!
CDC is the real deal. The technique, the passion, the community — it’s unlike any other dance studio I’ve been to in the DMV area. I recommend it to everyone I know.
